Di antaranya dengan makan menggunakan sayur. Untuk meningkatkan semangat siswa makan sayur, maka seluruh siswa MIN 2 Kulon Progo melalui Gerakan Makan Sayur (Gemayur). Yaitu dengan membawa bekal nasi, lauk, dan sayur yang dimakan bersama-sama setelah kegiatan senam pagi. Gemayur bertujuan supaya siswa senang makan sayur di manapun mereka berada. Hal tersebut disampaikan Kepala Madrasah, Hartati, S.Pd.I. M.Pd. di sela-sela siswa makan sayur, Jum&#8217;at (16\/2\/2024) pagi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaya senang hari ini siswa membawa bekal nasi, lauk, dan sayur. Memang selama ini beberapa siswa enggan bila makan sayur. Mereka senang hanya menggunakan lauk dengan saus. Sayur sangat dibutuhkan oleh tubuh. Namun siswa kadang tidak menyadari pentingnya sayur. Oleh karena itu dengan gemayur ini harapannya supaya siswa senang makan dengan sayur. Ada sayur hijau maupun warna yang lain tentu akan bermanfaat bagi perkembangan tubuh siswa. Memang agak repot ketika ibunya harus memasak pagi-pagi untuk dibawa ke madrasah. Namun bila siswanya suka makan sayur, hal itu akan senang dilakukan ibu mereka untuk selalu masaknya.
